Apple Has Competition

Apple Has Competition
The Amazon Kindle Fire and Barnes & Noble Nook Tablets are giving the Apple Ipad some competition.  It wouldn't suprise me If the mighty Apple to pull a rabbit out of a hat and come out with a far superior tablet at a lower cost.

Technorati Is Awesome

Technorati Is Awesome
Tonight I decided to submit my blog to Technorati MFN2KFHTPMCE .  I guess I had to submit this small claim code within my blog,I hope it works.  I know my blog isn't fancy, but I want to see how many folks will take time and read a few of my post.

Burger King - Have It Their Way

Burger King - Have It Their Way
Burger King - Have It Their Way is going to debut new and improved french fries.  The newer fries are fluffier, with better potato flavor on the inside.
I bet the hyprochondria fast food addicts are going cry fowl and lawyer up.  Don't these folks realize that fast food addiction only feeds hungry lawyers.

Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer

Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer
The other day I was walking through the grocery store and heard the song Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer playing.  I then realize christmas is in a few weeks, I can be such a forgetful dork at times. So this holiday season be charitable and donate to a trustworthy organization  to help the less fortunate.

Arrested Development

Arrested Development
Tonight I watch an episode of Arrested Development on Netflix.  I must say it's an interesting and humorous show.  I must confess something, I stumbled upon it accidently; I thought it was a slapstick comedy about a police detective.

Fixed Rate Mortgages-Adjustable Mortgage

Fixed Rate Mortgages-Adjustable Mortgage
On occasion I like to read something about business and financial world even if I don't understand what the heck I am reading.  For example,  I read something about mortgages, and found out that adjustable mortgage are at a all time low, and a thirty year fixed rate mortgages fell below four percent.
I hope what I read is encouraging news to folks who want to buy or sell a home.

Black Friday Is Over

Black Friday Is Over.  It was crazy today, people camped outside stores like mindless gluttonous zombies salivating for an angry fix of materialism.  And now cyber monday is coming, it's just a small fix to help those zombies take the edge off of the black friday withdrawal.

I think it's just madness

Frontman Billy Corgan of the Smashing Pumpkins is debuting his new business venture, Resistance Pro, an indie wrestling company. According to Resistance Pro's site, "it's their mission to bring a unique Professional Wrestling Company to you, The Fans." I must say, I believe them, and will be excited to see if Resistance Pro can play with the big dogs of pro wrestling.

Blue Desert Starring Courteney Cox

Blue Desert Starring Courteney Cox
Last night I did a movie search on the Popcornflix movie channel on my Roku box, and came across Blue Desert Starring Courteney Cox.  Courteney Cox plays a sexual assault victim,  Lisa Roberts, a New York comic book artist that moves to an Arizona town where she unknowingly befriends a small town police officer with a dark past.
Blue Desert is a psychological thriller that was filmed in the year of 1991 in the small towns of  Cantil and Inyokern, both are located in the California high desert.

Miss Aguilera Slammed For Tight Dress

Miss Aguilera Slammed For Tight Dress
Christina Aguilera   get's slammed from the media and the fashion police for showing off her curves in a tight bandage dress while performing on the American Music Awards.   In my opinion, maybe the mainstream media and the horrid fashion police should not   judge Miss Aguilera on her fashion ensemble, but work on their own morality.

Elisabeth Shue "CSI Las Vegas"

Elisabeth Shue "CSI Las Vegas"
I had nothing to really write about today for this blog, so I decided to do a web search on entertainment news and came across this: "Actress Elisabeth Shue  from the Karate Kid and Back to future II, III movies is set to join the cast of CSI Las Vegas, replacing Marg Helgenberger."
I wonder if all these cast changes from Laurence Fishburne to Ted Danson, and now Marg Helgnberger to Elisabeth Shue is  another desperate act to try to salvage the show?

The Lazarus Project

The Lazarus Project
Last night, I watch a movie on netflix called The Lazarus Project. It's stars Paul Walker who plays a reformed criminal named Ben that is drawn back into criminal activity by his brother. When the laboratory robbery goes horrible wrong Ben is sentence to death by lethal injection. He awakes from his death sentence in a psychiatric hospital in a small town, where he is told he is givin a second chance.
The Lazarus Project reminds me of Leonardo DiCaprio movie, Shutter Island, but with a happy ending.

Boycott Kardashian

"Boycott Kardashian"

Boycott Kardashian petition gains steam to almost 100,000 signatures.  That some crazy stuff and a very good idea.  I wonder if this boycott is a publicity stunt perpetrated by the network to lure a larger t.v audience for this horrid reality show.  It is Hollywood, all publicity is good and it equals a large amount of money for the kardashians and the network.

PETA Attacks Tanooki Mario

 PETA Attacks Tanooki Mario
That crazy animal activist group (PETA) attacks Nintendos iconic game character Mario for wearing a tanooki fur suit in Super Mario 3d land. ( tanooki "tanuki" is raccoon dog)
Average people don't take PETA seriously after their crazy protest like using disturbing holocaust imagery or naked humans to promote their organization. I think PETA should find less graphic and contervsial ways of teaching society about animal cruelty, and not attacking a harmless iconic game character such as Mario.

Natalie Merchant - David Bowie's Space Oddity

Natalie Merchant - David Bowie's Space Oddity
Today, I heard a snip it  of  Space Oddity by David Bowie playing as a car pass me by while walking to the library to return some poetry books i checked out two weeks ago.  That song was playing in mind while I was at the library and on the walk back home.
I did a search on youtube to see  if I could hear the entire song.  I came across on my search  Natalie Merchant covering David Bowie's Space Oddity.  Wow, I think her version of the song is phenomenal, her vocal styling makes Space Oddity more emotional in my opinion.
