Indie Game: The Movie

Tonight, I had the opportunity to watch a kick ass documentary called Indie Game: The Movie  on Netflix.  Indie Game: The Movie documents the ups and downs of being a indie game developer.  It features the talented game developers: Edmund McMillen and Tommy Refenes creators of Super Meat Boy, Phil Fish creator of FEZ, and Jonathan Blow creator Braid.
I recommend this movie to anyone who is a Die Hard Gamer or who any who enjoy a good documentary, and don’t forget to check out their video games.

Just say NO to Autoblogging

Today, I was asked if I am ever tempted to use an autoblogging software to generate blog content automatically?  I replied with a big fat" NO. "  In my humble opinion, it's  more fun writing or typing my own random blurbs for my personal blog than having some software do it for me.

Who's the better Captain Kirk?

A few days ago Yahoo.com had a survey pole on its front page that asked: “Who's the better Captain Kirk, William Shatner or Chris Pine?”   William Shatner overwhelming won with the most votes.  I found Yahoo.com survey pole on this topic very amusing.  I asked myself how could Yahoo.com compare the living legend William Shatner’s role as the iconic Captain Kirk to Chris Pine role as Captain Kirk?   Laugh out loud; I’m such a nerd for even creating and asking myself a question about such a amusing topic.  I found all the Star Trek T.V. shows and movies to be super fantastic.

Praise for CNET.com

I’m going to give a praise shout out to CNET.com for always giving thorough reviews on the new and latest tech products and technological news.  For example, the other day I want to see what computer tablets would be a good suit for my wife and I, and  sure enough CNET.com came through again with their outstanding tech savvy reviews.  You Rock CNET.com

Black Flag "Nervous Breakdown"

I written anything since September. Now i think it's time to write another blog post. I bought a band t-shirt online of one my favorite punk band from the 1970's-1980's called Black Flag. Oh how I wish there was another band like Black Flag in this new millennium, but I guess that is a pipe dream.  Here is one of Black Flag's song called Nervous Breakdown on Youtube.com

A Humorous Music Rant

The other day I overheard this humorous rant at the grocery store from somebody wearing a Madonna t-shirt.

“Music sounds so bland and boring these days, and most of us true music lovers can tell it’s a manufactured sound created in bulk and distributed to the masses for the only obvious conclusion, it’s a desperate act for the sickly corporate music industry to gain a profit.”

I do find the rant to be valid, but I can’t take it seriously from a person to wearing a Madonna t-shirt.  Lol, and now I sound weird and have no place to criticize a person wearing Madonna t-shirt ranting about the music industry.  When I, a blogger posted a youtube video of Madonna’s music video” Give Me All Your Luvin” featuring M.I.A. Nicki Minaj.

A Small September Blurb

This morning as I was eating oatmeal for breakfast, I realized it's September. How time fly's when being busy with work and moving into a new apartment.   Ugh, I really dislike the process of moving.  At least I got a cool apartment without have to using the World Wide Web, I used the good ole local newspaper I purchased at the newsstand.

How to improve your Alexa Ranking?

Yesterday, I received this question,” how to improve your Alexa Ranking?” I replied back with an honest answer, “I don’t know.”
I don’t know much about SEO, Google Panda, or Google Penguin.  And I must admit, I do use some small traffic methods like using TrafficSwarm.com and LinkReferral.com.
But mostly I just like writing about random stuff, and I do find it enjoyable when folks read my silly random blurbs and leave a comment.

Never Quit Loving You by Jill Barber

I finally found out the name the song that was used for the Dodge Journey Commercial.  It is called, “Never Quit Loving You,” by Canadian singer song writer Jill Barber.  I really think it’s an awesome song.  Jill Barber has a unique voice reminiscent of a lady jazz singer of an era long ago.  You get more information and buy her fantastic music at Outside Music.com or you could go to her website Jill Barber.com.  Here is a Youtube video of Jill Barber's song,” Never Quit Loving You.”
